I've never been to ebay

First, thank you for the welcome back to me to gather.
Yes, I have a store, but not selling anything right now. I have a web, and shops on line instead.
I did Ebay for 6 years, and occassionally now will sell something. I think that they charge way too much money in all their fees for everything that you do.
Good luck if you decide to go that way, but you could try Etsy, that is a good site to sell your things, if they are homemade.

I'm not looking to put one up, but a few of my friends have asked me about them and if I would help. So, I am doing research on it. It appears a little pricey so far from what I am getting on feedbacks. But I need to get some more info.

ebay stores , i work with a lot of ebay store owners, the biggest problem on ebay is usually ebay itself and there constant changing of rules,prices, fees feedback system, and to a lesser extent this effect sellers directly there developer tools and applications protocols.

Second to ebay is the actually buyers ebay attracts , some are several mentally challenged and how they perform simple every tasks like crossing the road is beyond me, (Scariest part is some of these same buyers are purchasing items relating to cars) they actually are allowed to drive.

With all the above out of the way, ebay can still return huge amounts of sales, here in the UK alone there are something like 10 million transactions a week on ebay.co.uk, we have clients who trade around £1 million a year off ebay.co.uk alone, get a phone number highly present on an ebay shop design and you can drive users to call you therefore helping to increase sales over the phone.
