I'm trying to do two things
I'm trying to do three things
Growing to nine, Oh, what the heck
Multi-tasking, whistle while you work
I guess primal screaming, a bit terse
Find the even keel, try balancing
You've been over this and that
You've been over and been back
Mundane tale, imagine a whale
Knowing the sea is not impedimenta
Sort a gotcha there, like Cassandra
Can't quite put your finger in the pie
Social pass code, handy escape clause
Behind Venetian blinds, select pause
Take a load off, letting socks tend tired feet
Moments alone, home, meditation
Let the bells ring not aggravation
Just relax, let you mind find blue sky
I and you, family and relations
Mixed ensemble, somewhat like our nation
Postman leaves letters, another bill for thrills
Culturally misplaced, lifelines, dreams, fantasy
We see it here, there, waving goodbye history
Entertaining the moment, sensing the change

Thanks for this poem too, very good. I enjoyed it.
You express emotive of life akin to strategically meandering the concourse of an airline terminal during express hour. Fast, furious, and so alive.
Enjoyable as always!
Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
Good write!
In the last line of the 3rd stanza, is it supposed to be "let YOUR mind find blue sky"?
And since you asked, I do NOT find it comfortable under my desk! Too many other things under there!
But you shall survive
to write.
More meditation?
Evening is crossing

As for your computer that's going to kick the bucket - try HP.com; they have a computer under $300 that will knock your pants off.
vewry funny..
it made me recall my long past days of multi tasking..:
driving my standard transmission firebird while smoking a cigarette, drinking coffee, eating a donut and putting on my mascara..
now a days it would be calling on the cell, driving the automatic and chewing gum..whie sippinga vitamin fortified water..
oh how boring !
lol
great poem,William..you capture the most mundane in a jar ,add the words and presto! Magic!
Also, I think your last stanza beautifully describes the state of our current high-speed, melting-pot culture.
Fun and entertaining, but it sends one's brain off in all directions. Tickling those grey cells.
i believe in entertaining the moments. one day at a time is how i live. lovely poem
