Today's Trip Into Space

The morning started out at -8 but the wind were calm so my space journey went as planned.  I walked to school with my sidekick Flat Randy in my bag.  We were ready to tell the 2nd grade class all about the Kennedy Space Center.  This is the time when they are studying space and Flat Randy was all excited about showing them pictures of him with the astronaut and the moon buggy.

It was a hit with the children.  They had lot of questions, including "Did you go on the shuttle into space."  I hope my talking with them about  the experience Flat Randy and I had at KSC  will make them even more eager to study about space and space exploration.

It is so sad. I grew up in St. Pete and never got to go to the Kennedy Space Center.

Wow, great article and wonderful photos.....are are very pretty! We've been to Florida many times but never to Kennedy Space Center.....darn!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing!
