Have you looked at your phone bill recently? Well, my bill just jumped up about $30 so I was looking at it to see why. Apparently they did not bill me for my long distance service for 2.5 months so I got it in a lump sum bill today! lucky me! I really don't use long distance, but because of the whole bundling package, it was essentially free to have as I get that $15 a month off of my other services.
However, due to checking my bill closely, I called to see what other plans they have. I ended up getting a better plan, with faster internet and saved $9 a month. Seems you have to call them every few months to get the best deals. I had just changed plans back in September for the better deal as well, so if you keep checking, you may end up saving some $$.

We have vonage for our home phone, too. We technically live in town, but it's a town of about 200, out in the middle of nowhere (just to give you an idea, if you aren't military, you have to drive at least 25 miles to get fast food, even if you are military, you have to drive 20). We don't get cell phone reception very well anywhere in our house and not at all in the basement, which is where Elliott's play room, and my computer are set up, so that's where we are most of the time when we aren't sleeping.
