Saw The Movie VALKYRIE

Since I am not a Tom Cruise fan I was iffy about going.  But the topic was so important to me I decided to go.  WOW--it was so intense.  Great movie, writing  acting, scenes---I cannot say enough good about it.  I was so wrapped up in it, I was still hoping Hitler was going to really get killed.  Have you seen it, what did you think?

We have seen documentaries about Valkyire. Hubby wants to see the movie.

Just saw it last night. I am not a Cruise fan either but he had me convinced he was channeling his character. I liked it too.

I was completely put off by Tom Cruise in the movie Top Gun, perhaps its fairer to say the whole movie put me off. The scene in the elevator of instance!! must have been at least a hundred floors in the building. Valkyre was a great movie. Good detail, the troops in the forest wearing mosguito nets was a nice touch.

Have not seen it, like you I am kinda iffy about it...might have to rent it when it comes to dvd :>}

I haven't seen it. I, like you am not a fan of Tom Cruise's but my husband wants us to see it since he heard good things about the movie, so I guess we'll go.

I've been thinking about going. Glad you gave it a good review. I went to see Madagascar II, with the little grands and surprisingly enjoyed it so now I need to go to the other extreme and go see this one. Thanks for the review.
