Today when I was outside as my teenager was taking a picture of me in my newly dyed hair. I happen to notice some berries growing on the bush right next to the chain link fence. Can anyone tell me what kind they are? I live in southern Florida if that helps. I am not sure if these are native or have been brought in from another state.

Never eat anything you're not sure of. Have a friend try it. Then wait a few days and see how they feel. That's what friends are for!
there are great recipies for chokecherry jam... they are everywhere here and each year we harvest half for jam and leave the others for the birds.... YUMMMMMM ! Just don't eat them raw ick.... and do not let horses eat over 1 pound of them, upsets tummy......sheep however can eat all they want :>}}
