These 'predictions' are from my Political email group............interesting concepts?

Obama is going to pull the trigger on Cuban Embargo. At first I thought he was going to do it in the first 100 Days but now I think he is going to wait until early summer 2009. He will announce a Phased Reduction in the Embargo starting with a full release on Agricultural Payments, then on limits of money shipped between countries, travel and visas and finally a normalization. Miami will explode in a frenzy but the tumult will be over before the 2010 Senate race in Florida and the seat will go Democratic.
Pelosi will last two more years as Speaker of the House and then she is gone. She isn't the right person for the job for Obama's plans. It will be a smooth move out. Reid will take a little longer to move out. Will not make it to Obama second term.
Spotlight: watch out for a character named Eric Cantor on the Republican side in the House. He's short, dark haired guy you see lurking behind the GOP leaders. He's their new Tom Delay. Watch him closely. He's the snake in the garden that will grab the frog.

Pelosi and Reid, though Democrats, are of the old guard. Their spineless, backward ways are going to cut it in the near future.
Pelosi and Reid do not in my mind, match with Obama's personality at all; they will bump heads behind the scenes anyway. They have shown poor leadership skills anyway to me, and I think the party can do better.
Don't know about this Cantor guy much.
