Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo is available in most drugstores as well as Target and Walmart and various supermarkets. This shampoo is touted as being  for hair that has accumulated damage. It retails at Target for 3.94 for a 12 oz. bottle. I find this shampoo to be equivalent to a salon brand. I think it is very helpful to repair split ends and to keep your hair moisturized. This shampoo also has a repairing serum in it that helps to make your hair sleek and strong. I think this shampoo does help your hair to look it;s best. I recommend this shampoo and think it a bargain for the money. I am very happy with how it performs.

So funny you posted this. I just bought it today because my organic stuff isn't sold in RiteAid anymore. I tried it a little while ago and love it. It smells great and makes you hair very soft.

I have not had very good luck with Dove shampoos in the past, but glad to see that they work for others. There are usually a lot of Dove coupons available.

This shampoo is better than traditional Dove shampoo in my opinion.

I think that pantene strips essential oils from your hair. This replaces moisture and oil. It is definitely better if you have hair damage.

I will look for this in a trial size. I have long, very thin and weak hair (starting to bald on top, it is very, very fine textured) and currently Sunsilk Volumizer is my favorite 'line'. But I'm always open to trying something new, cautiously. (Sensitive skin dictates that if I itch or break out in a rash, I can't use it. It is rare that I can use all the products from one line without any trouble.)
Thank you for the information on the product. I have tried it myself, but because my hair is so fine and straight, for me the rich proteins in the shampoo mix tend to weigh down my hair and give it a heavy feel. I prefer the Organix silk serum for my own color treated hair. It removes the brittleness without a heavy and oily feel.

Good review. I like to know how people like different products, especially new ones as they come out. It one of those things I enjoy so much with Gather!
