I've been on a redecorating kick- or rather, a "I finally plan to decorate" kick. I've been perusing artwork, and while I've found some gorgeous pieces, they are either not the right colors, or they are WAY out of my price range. I started messing around with the computer, and came up with a few choices. I think when I repaint, I'm going to take the hutch down, and try to find a taller, thin table to place right there. Then, I want to hang a focal piece of artwork on the wall.
Around it, I want to place some iron candle holders, and get some of the large metal words. The only place I could find those online last night was Walmart, and they had a set that has 3 words- Live, Laugh, Love. I think something like that on the wall would look nice, and it's directly across from where you enter the room at.
So, here's my first piece of digital art, which I made large enough to print out at 16" by 16" (it's square, though to make it easier on printing, I would probably revise them into rectangles, because I know quite a few sites where I can get poster quality prints made up.

My copy looks a lot more crisp, without the jpg artifacting added around things. I would ideally like to make a set of 3 of these, maybe, that could all be printed up smaller, and hung side by side.
What do you think?
