Don't forget about the Moon!

This morning I posted a little article about tonight's full moon.  Tonight's moon is 31,000 miles closer to the earth than it has been in quite a long time and about 30% brighter - now that's a big bright moon.  Due to the moons orbit not being in an exact circle as it orbits the earth....makes tonight's moon look hugh (14% larger).  It's not only full, it's bright, it's beautiful and it's hugh.  Go look, go look, go look -- and tell your grand children all about the crazy lady who liked to watch the big full moon.   You'll like it.

Raining here and it's supposed to all night. :( I love Full Moons.
I wanted to go out and take a pic, but hubby said there's so much cloud (we have rain moving in) that you can't see anything...........bummer.

Wonderful, isn't it. And to think that it would just be a light in the sky if we didn't know so much about it. It would be beautiful but it would not be such a wonder to me if I didn't know how it came to be there and what its surface is like and so on. It generates such inspiring thoughts in my mind when I see it.
