my work shift is noon-8 p.m. today..I hear ya! Bit once I got started working, I am ok now. Just went and made myself a cup of hot tea..checking my Gather..now back to work!

I feel lazy too. I have so much to do around the house (pack up Christmas, organize the basement, laundry, the list really is endless) but I don't wanna!!! I am now on here and eating rice and chicken.

LOL - Do you think your cat would be good at your job? I have always wanted a helper monkey, I think it could do my job. They can balance your checkbooks if trained, and there is that video of a monkey waiter, so why not?

i always tell the cats that they need to get a job to help support their food habit. lol!

hey yeah, lets send the cats to work for us he he Do you think they would clean the house too? I bet they would do a better job than the kids around here do.

I know the feeling....i haven't felt good and I didn't want to get up this morning to be working...soon as I get off, i am going to my bed! :)

I get all the prego lazy days I want.... cept for the moments durring the day I have to be mommy to Bryan, cuz I cant forget him. but while he's playing or playing with daddy or Gammy, here I am.... cuz I just fed him and he'll be out for 2 hrs and then wake up wanting to play with his Gammy who would have just woke up cuz she worked last night :)

I think you have one of the same wishes as me deep down... You wish there were 2 of you, lol. But I think everyone thinks that.. one to work and one to play. Or for me one to do things and one to Gather, lmao.

Well, Jessica, unless you're a "professional eater & napper", I can't imagine what kind of job the cats could possibly do for you! LOL!

the shift does not seem too long. I am still trying to find some parttime work in my area. But I know exactly how you feel. When I worked fulltime in gravy train job, where I had a very nice office set up and not much more than walking around socializing with people all day, typing notes, taking notes in interesting meetings, I still did not want to go at the time I was suppose to go. If only I could stop in when I wanted to at anytime during the day I thought instead of having to be strictly from 8:00 to 4:00. I loved my dogs and I wanted to spend time with them, more time than at that job, even though the job was nice too, I just hated having to go at the specified times. Then I thought, well if I had a choice, I really might not stop in there but once a year or so........I blame it on my childhood days. I had two very loving parents that had had rough childhoods and wanted their children to just "play" all the time and enjoy their childhood while mom and dad took care of all the responsibilities. I had no responsibilities as a child, only to play, play, play all the day. I did have strict bedtime hours.

So am I, but I am commenting back~

I've got one that can actually operate the copier. (I'm not kidding - she knows how to hit the buttons and start it up and paper shoots out, then she pulls off the sheet of paper and runs off with it.) I have another one that shreds paper. If I leave a file drawer open, she pulls papers out of the folders and shreds them to pieces. They might be some good office help for you! LOL

Hi Jessica, I know the lethargic feelings..same here.After 22 days finally my elder son's school reopened and just imagine I was still in the bed till 6:00 am...but I ha no choice...I got up and after saying bye to both father and son, my 4 month old son demanded an oil massage, diaper changing and giggling...Ah!!!...

The best thing to do is just get up and go. After we get busy, we feel more like being busy.

It might be the lull after all of the holidays. I know now with the cold weather all I want to do is snuggle under the blanket with my dog nuzzled next to me. Good luck with teaching the cat!

That'd be great! I'd hate to think how my cat would do my job though. I'm in retail management, so I actually have to be nice to customers, something that my cat fails at on quite a few occasions. She's not a big fan of house guests...

Cats can't work for you! Silly girl! lol
