Vegas has hit on tough times. Lester Holt was there this morning covering some convention and said hotel rates, usually 90 percent, are down to 60 percent. A cab driver even said something like the city felt like a ghost town. For all of you stuck in snow, this equates to some great deals.
Sure enough, I checked my e-mail this morning and find a special "Spend a Weekend with Barry Manilow" offer. Even if you're not the world's biggest Manilow fan (that title belongs to me), this is a good deal: two nights deluxe accommodations at the Las Vegas Hilton, dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants, ten percent off purchases at the Manilow store and two tickets to Ultimate Manilow (Barry's show) for $120. That's an unbelievable deal. One seat in the balcony to the show usually costs more than $120 alone! Airfare isn't included, but what an amazing deal!
Hubby and I had a quick discussion. We can't make it because of family obligations. If anyone wants the information and the code, pm me and I'll share it. It may be a one-use deal, but I'd say they'll take as many as they can get! And, if I can't spend the weekend with Barry, one of you should!

If I could find someone to watch the dogs in our home for a week, I would consider it.
