Congratulations on the release of your book, Sterling! May the bookstore be packed with listeners. When I went on tour most readings were well attended but in Chicago only six people turned up and three of them were sales clerks. :-) Ann Patchett told me that when she first began writing she had several of those "unattended" readings but that she developed some great relationships with the clerks who are the ones that hand sell your book.

I'm proud to be your friend - I've read nearly half of Alvarra now, and it is truly a magical tale you've woven, at once enticing and intriguing

I haven't forgotten the review I'd promised,. and I still have the links you provided. Rest assured, when I do write something, even if it comes a year later (by which time you may not even need it, having become a celebrity :), it will be a heartfelt and passionate piece, as with everything I write.
