24 Returns!!!!!!!

Well this Sunday and Monday night the liberal nightmare 24 returns. I've been waiting for so long for his show to return. Starting it's seven'th season Jack Bauer is in DC this time staring down a smug politician. "I'll let the people judge me not you." And the show is off and running.

Last season(6) was a bit of a disappointment (I still watched every episode) for most people. This season one of the bad guys appears to be former (who was believed to be dead) CTU agent Tony Almeida. Now as much as I would like for Tony to be under cover I'm hoping he's not and that he truely has gone over to the dark side. Because being under cover is too predictable.

The story follows the two hour movie Redemption bring to light the sad story of Africas child soldiers.

So I'm hoping for a great season and I hope everyone will share their thoughts on the show.

All I have to say is it is about frickin' time it is back! I've lost track of how long it was off air --- like 2 years? I don't even remember! My hubby and I watch it together so we get warm fuzzy feelings about eachother when we hear the filler music when 24 goes to commercial and comes back from commercial. Call us crazy!

Chris it's a fast paced action show that plays out in real time. One hour of the show is one hour in real time. Action doesn't pause for commercials.

I've always thought it was a very original format.

Heidi it's been 2 years basically. what would have been season seven was canceled due to the writers strike. It feels like it's been longer.

Kay I know I would hate it if Tony was a bad guy too. But he's got reasons to have a grudge.

Use to watch it, but couldn't figure out how a guy goes 24 hours without eating, sleeping, peeing or burping!

Good point Clay but I got woke up one morning having to pee so bad that my eye's were yellow. I went upstairs to the bathroom. How ever when I got to the first floor I noticed smoke rolling across the ceiling. Well long story short it was about nine hours later that I remembered that I still hadn't peed. Was a bit distracted and fogot about why I had got up in the first place.

So I can kinda see if things are pumping not having silly things like eating and drinking. lol
