EZ Off oven cleaner always works for me. Spray on let set (I usually let it set overnight) and then wipe clean.

isn't you oven selfcleaning... thought the newer brand were, the one we have is supposed to be. Stinks up the house when it is used.

Yeah, just get a bottle of the oven cleaner stuff like EZ Off, and follow the directions. It's super easy to use!

I bought some oven cleaner. I think the letting it sit overnight is a good idea.

Dad .. its not self cleaning I sure wish it was though!!!

I am trying to do a lot of deep cleaning at my house ..... boy thats a task with four kids!!! I am putting them to work too they just don't know it yet!

I came by to make sure I saw the tips, lol. Good luck. I had a self cleaning oven and when it died bought another and didn't check to make sure it was self-cleaning. That's one of the biggest mistakes I ever made.

Well drat... I just burn it off next time I cook... It's an event around here opening the doors and windows while making sure all the fans are on... Don't I feel silly... LOL

There's this great product that doesn't stink at all called The 60 second Oven and Grill Cleaner that I bought at Walgreen's. It's the best.

I use the steam cleaner, like the one seen on tv..Scunnci...got mine at Walmart for $50 best $50 ever spent...It cleans everything with no harsh chemicals...I love it!

I was going to suggest the same as Cathy N. I used some on my grill outside and then used it to clean the oven. Worked great for me.

EZ Off is good but I am not a fan of the way it smells. I would go for some comet powder sprinkled on the area after a slight wetting not and let that sit overnight. then scrub with a dishwashing sponge with the rough side. Try the 60 second Oven and Grill Cleaner also. IT may be more than 60 seconds but it is less harsh on your oven than EZ Off.
