Just flitting...

So ...? What have I missed? Have tried to catch up some, but it's just not working well at all....  

First week back at school/the motel - and the Internet is SUCKING royally again - they tell me that it will be fixed by the time I get back here next Tuesday. I hope so, otherwise it will be time to go exploring. This is PITIFUL.  It works for about 10 minutes at a time, then craps out again for an hour or so. Very frustrating!

My courses look as though they are going to be interesting, although the Canadian Lit prof has decided that our major papers for that class are to be 10,000 words - that is DOUBLE the length of the long papers we have to do for all of our other courses... hell, my Major Research Paper (MRP) doesn't have to be much longer than that. Nasty! Going to have to get going on it WAY early - first I need to finish up my Phd applications though ...got 2 on the go, but neither finished :(  Which is bad, cuz they are due SOON. Tomorrow...  have to get both of those done tomorrow -and also book my psych exam.

Hanging out at the motel between classes with Ross is going okay so far - although it is very close quarters and a whole lot of this ~togetherness~ stuff. And I miss my dog.... more when I know he's not at home... although he likes hanging out with Diane & Lady, her dog, just fine.

*sigh* there goes my Internet again.... WAY too annoying!  Hoping that we won't have too many Friday TA meetings this semester - then we can head home as soon as my Thursday class is over at 2. Much better! We did talk about driving home and then coming back in the morning, but decided that it really wasn't worth the extra time on the road, especially with winter driving conditions. But I wanna go HOME! *whine*

Next week is going to  be a MAJOR pain - got classes all day Tuesday - 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. .... then have to drive home so that we can be at the fracture clinic in Barrie by 9 a.m. to see about getting my stOOpid cast off... or at LEAST replaced (I'm hoping for the former)

Then we need to turn around and head back here to Peterborough for classes that go to 9 p.m. again ... it is going to be a very loooooooooooooooooong couple of days! All SO much fun!

Oh, and for those of you that have been following the progression of Cruising, my musical - the songs are now all updated on the website ... complete with audiofiles of Stephanie or Stephanie The Younger singing a few of them, even. I haven't posted the script - but can if anyone is interested (once I get home tomorrow)
