Oh sure I'm just like everybody else who loves the lower prices at Wal-Mart but I truly despise them. I worked there for about 3 weeks and was fired without reason why, since I was still on probation they didn't have to give me one. But I know why. I was rather adamant about how they were screwing us as employees and how they're 'open door' policy instead of letting their employees unionize practice was pure BS. They don't want their employees to unionize cause then they'd have to pay them fairly and give them better work rights. They tried to jazz up this profit share program they have, making it sound like you got thousands in bonuses every year. Well the store I was working for was promised their bonuses would be coming in May of 2007 just after inventory was done. Then once inventory was complete, Oops it turns out they didn't reduce shoplifting by 0.05% like they should have it was only reduced by 0.0497% so they didn't earn their profit share bonus. Like WOW oh my GOD, three ten-thousandths of a percent justifies not giving them their share of all the other bonus criteria earned them. they didnt even get the bonuses they shoulda earned. and haven't gotten a single dime since. BS pure Flippin BS In my opinion.
How do you feel about the evil greedy corporation??

The stores are dirty and understaffed.
In addition, they are bad for the US. Many of their employees qualify for Medicaid, do us taxpayers end up subsidizing the healthcare of Walmart employees. If they paid a fair wage, this would not be so.
Gee, guess what though - for the first time since 1980 polling by a major polling company shows the majority (56%) of Americans FAVOR unions!!!!
Could it have something to do with the wort economic crash since the depression? Was Reagan wrong about the unions? DUH!!!!!
But I know they treat their employees terrible.
My son's 4-H leader works at the local Walmart, but she actually like it there, lol. she say it's better than a lot of other local employers here.
