How many of you have started Christmas shopping for next year?  I will fully admit that I started the day after Christmas! HA! My husband simply shakes his head and smiles.  After being together for over 9 years, he is used to my frugal ways.  So far, I have bought a ton of stocking stuffers for the various people I do stockings for.  I have bought a few gifts.  I just keep my eyes peeled all year long for good sales and clearance sales and get gifts then.  Truthfully, I buy not only for Christmas, but also for other occasions such as birthdays and Mother's Day.

Anyone else got their eyes peeled for all the good finds??

Too dang soon to start thinking about that stuff.
Normally I do a few small things this time of year, but we've been broke, broke, broke. When we get taxes, I'll likely snag a few small things here and there.

I typically do the same thing every year, but this year, since we were away, and money is tight, I have not so much. I did get a few things on clearance at Target for next year, but that's it so far. Last year, after Christmas, I bought stuff for most of my daughter's friend's birthdays, and even some for next Christmas.

No, we do a Christmas Club account and get our check the last week of October so my friend and I go on a marathon shopping spree the Day after Thanksgiving. I usually get all of it done then. We get a hotel for the night and check in about 3:00 pm because we usually have been up since 2 am. We relax, hot tub, take a nap and then go out for dinner. Then we go back to the room and wrap all the presents. You should have seen some of the guests when we checked out the next day with a cart full of wrapped presents.

Laurie, what a cool way to get it all done! WOW!

I will fess up that I bought next year's winter coat for my daughter today on clearance for $11! We live in South Florida, and don't need winter coats, but we visit my dad in the mountains of NC for the holidays, so I don't want to spend a fortune for a coat she might wear for 2 weeks at most. Two years ago I bought her one on ebay for $10, and it lasted 2 years, I doubt she'll fit it next year, so now it's covered. YAY!

If I were married and had a family, I would already be stocking away gifts. However, since I'm not, I don't really celebrate the holidays.

I have not started yet-the only reason being...I am planning a wedding and need all the extra $ to go there. After the wedding in April...you can bet I'll be starting.

Nope. We don't have enough room in our luggage to cart all the gifts over, so we shop the last 2 weeks once in NY.

We bought some Christmas dishes that were 75% off and a ton of Christmas wrapping paper. I'll probably start my shopping this summer after my trip to Cali, or while i'm there mabey.
