This kid missed the bus to school so he took the family car. The police said he did pretty well until he crashed. The parents were arrested for child endangerment.
WOW! I have a 7 year and I could not imagine him driving my car last year! And I am sorry but why was the mom asleep? I would not let my kids get up and get them selves ready for school!
This so reminds me of one of my boys around that age! My mother, I told her to lock her car when she visited, and I always had to watch my middle boy, ALWAYS! He started up a front end loader at a friends mill, not knowing how to stop it. One of the guys was watching him. That was a "large tree" wood mill, not many around anymore. Equipment is for large tree's, not the puny ones seen today.
A rancher we know said the kids were fine in the barn I was stressing I could not see my boy, the rancher said he even had problems starting his tractor so my three boys were fine, maybe his feet were to big, or he did not push the button just right, my kid started it up pretty quickly!
The parents have to sleep. The first time my kid did this we did not know he was going to! Though parents do need to be awake, so maybe more to this story...... kids are smarter then we give them credit for!
My son is almost 8 and has been able to drive an automatic since he was about 5 years old, we let him practice in the field, he thinks it's great! My siblings and I knew at that age as well, we spent a lot of time in the woods with my parents and if they got hurt they wanted us to know how to get out and get help!
