THE GLOBAL POVERTY ACT: REDISTRIBUTING AMERICA'S WEALTH
By NWV News Director Jim Kouri
Here's a peek. Click above to read the whole article.Â
Are Americans responsible for the welfare of everyone in the world? "Obama and Biden think so!" claim many US conservatives. According to conservative activists, there is a clandestine senate bill that awaits signing by President Barack Obama once he's sitting in the Oval Office.
This legislation requires the President of the United States "to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day."
"While Champagne glasses clink and bubbly is flowing, a secret Bill is hiding in the background ready to spring to life. The Obama/Biden honeymoon will be the prefect time to launch this lurking monster. They are hoping not a soul will notice," said conservative strategist Michael Baker.
Senate Bill 2433 is said to be so devastating, that it will strip America of all its sovereignty and dignity.

Here's a bit from that article:
In my last article, I put down, in succinct order, with as much clarity and simplicity as possible, twenty undisputed facts of why Barry Soetoro (a/k/a, Barack Hussein Obama) is not eligible to the office of president. I received e-mails from many that these twenty undisputed facts, along with the supporting evidence, were sent to U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives. U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives cannot claim ignorance of the facts.
A recent AOL.com poll shows that the American public is becoming increasingly concerned with the prospect that Barry Soetoro (a/k/a, Barack Hussein Obama) is not eligible to the office of president. With 108,503 votes registered, all but three states - NY, CT and DC - show a majority of those voting are concerned about Obama's eligibility:
- 55% saying yes, they are concerned;
- 39% saying no, they are not concerned; and
- 6% saying they aren't sure whether they are concerned or not.
This, of course, is not a scientific poll.
What will Congress do on January 8, 2009?
Click above to read Stuter's thoughts. Stuter mentions a previous article. Here is the link to that as well: WHO WILL STAND UP FOR THE U.S. CONSTITUTION? This article lists 20 reasons why Obama is not eligible to be President. Among them are:
1 - Barack Hussein Obama has not been vetted or certified eligible to the office of president of the United States by any agency tasked to do so or authorized to do so.
2 - Not one American citizen, not one Senator, not one Representative has seen, touched or examined Barack Hussein Obama's vault copy Hawaii birth certificate. On October 31, 2008, Dr Chiyome Fukino, Department of Health, Hawaii, issued a press release in which she stated that she had "seen and verified" that a Hawaii birth certificate for Obama did exist; she did not state what was on it nor did she state that it showed that Obama was born in Hawaii.Â
16 - Barack Hussein Obama has multiple aliases: Barry Soetoro, Barry Dunham, Barry Obama, Barack Soetoro, Barack Dunham. When he registered with the American Bar Association, he listed none of these as is required by law. Unless he had his name legally changed to Barack Hussein Obama after his adoption, of which there has been no proof presented, Barry Soetoro is his real name and Barack Hussein Obama is an alias.
17 - All his passport records, education records, medical records, birth records have become "not available" to the public. Those records show where he was born, if he applied for or received aid as a foreign student, the country or countries from which he has received passports.
18 - His selective service registration appears to be fraudulent. If he was a naturalized American citizen when he turned 18, and he failed to register with the selective service, he is barred from holding any position in government, elected or otherwise.
It amazes me that more Americans are not concerned about this. It makes me wonder if they called a meeting one day and half of American stood in line to be drugged or hypnotized...and the rest of us missed the call.

OBAMA'S LIES ABOUT GOVERNMENT BAILOUT PLAN
By Cliff Kincaid
A portion of that article:
Our media have been in awe of Barack Obama's physique, his workouts and basketball skills. But his lies about the proposed federal "stimulus" plan are what really deserve scrutiny.
Mike Allen of Politico.com quotes Republican consultant Frank Luntz as complimenting Obama for coming up with the deceptive phrase, "American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan," to describe the largest federal spending bill in history that is mainly designed to bail out state and local governments that have already spent too much taxpayer money.
Luntz told Politico that "Obama's team are the best linguists I've ever seen. Republicans aren't in his league right now." Those "linguists" include former reporters such as David Axelrod and Linda Douglass.
Explaining the propaganda value of the bill, Luntz said, "Recovery says putting the country back on track, and reinvestment is the next step up from investment."
Our media are not going to fall for this ploy, are they?
Even before Obama unveiled the title of the bill, a Washington Post article by Michael D. Shear referred to the proposal as "a massive recovery plan for the nation's struggling economy." A New York Times article by Jackie Calmes and Carl Hulse on January 3 called it a "two-year economic recovery package."
Notice that these two major liberal papers have brazenly adopted the terminology of the Democrats as their own.
Â
Why should that last sentence surprise anyone? Didn't that same media adopt Obama's words from press releases and from his book as fact, rather than doing any checking on their own?

FROM FREEDOM TO FEAR: THE DIALECTIC OF CHANGEÂ
By Nancy Levant
Change will come through terror, military might, continuing propaganda, strife, economic loss and weakness, joblessness, hunger, sickness, and all other forms of persuasive powerlessness. Change will come by force just as it always has.
Today, we are Communitarian people. We live, act, think, and believe according to community standards, which actually mean that we are truly and remarkably without opinion or options for opinion. Just as in closed and gated communities, we now live according to new law rule books assembled and published by our elected and appointed change agents. They do not govern of, for, or by the standards of the people. Dialectically, we now live according to their government of invention and intervention - the government that serves their collective powers of total collective wealth.

Levant has quite a few articles about this topic. If you click on the link above and look for "additional titles" you'll find an interesting list.

Reality looms just around the corner as President-elect Obama prepares for his coronation/inaugural. As the confluence of saying and doing approaches one is reminded of the final scene in the 1972 Robert Redford movie "The Candidate," when after finally winning the election he wasn't supposed to, the winner is seen turning to his campaign poobah and asking, "Marvin ... What do we do now?"
The recent presidential election was the most expensive in world history. Aided with oodles of (sometimes) questionable money and a complicit main stream media, Obama maintained the fiction of "change" and renaissance to win. Now what?
Without even factoring in the unanticipated, inevitable mega crisis, President Obama sits down to an already overfull plate.
The EU (that Peter Hitchens once called the next Soviet Union) continues to solidify their economic clout...primarily by undermining U.S. strengths.Congressional hubris, already a stage four carcinogenic, seems poised for a power induced "my way or the highway" jihad against their constituents.
Economy is in the toilet and billion dollar bail outs seem to be the coming rage, notwithstanding the inevitable reality that "someone" is going to have to come up with that Trillion dollars.
China, Russia, North Korea, and Cuba.Gaza/Israel-Hamas: The ubiquitous "Mideast problem" is yet further exacerbated and past harsh rhetoric and perpetual reciprocal killings escalate.
Such is a long and very incomplete list of what President Obama will find in his morning briefing folder when he plops down in the oval office.
Historian Jay Wink crystallized the loneliness of the Oval Office in the Wall Street Journal.
"The day after Abraham Lincoln's election, he assembled a gaggle of reporters and boisterously declared, 'Well boys, your troubles are now over; mine have only just begun.'" And THAT Jack is a fact. Wink notes that "the best advisers can't take momentous decisions out of the president's hands."
Regardless of how many grey haired wise men Obama surrounds himself with, ultimately it will be his call (complete with the attendant consequences) when faced with valued allies at war, a chemical, biological or nuclear attack on U.S. soil, or natural disaster.
Thomas Jefferson once noted, "No man will ever bring out of the Presidency the reputation which carried him into it."
No one knows what the next four years will bring. Frankly, I wish the new president well, and hope and pray that he exceeds expectations and frustrates his critics (yours truly included). However, despite what we want for the country, conventional wisdom (and the systemic "Jones" for spending, suggests Obama has the potential of overshadowing Jimmy Carter.
Abraham Lincoln correctly observed, "You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of many by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."
And yet the articulated agenda of the incoming administration is: discourage thrift to gain prosperity; weaken the strong to strengthen the weak; put down the wage payer to help the earner; encourage class hatred to further the brotherhood of many; destroy the rich to help the poor; spend what we don't have to get out of trouble created by spending; destroy initiative and independence; and abandon self reliance so Big Brother can take care of you?
Â
Â
Â
Frankly, I think the biggest surprises in store over the next four years will be to Obama himself and to his followers. I'll pray that I'm wrong.Â

***By the way, the last writer uses a quote that he says came from Abe Lincoln. Some web sites say that Lincoln said those words; some web sites claim that he never said them. I do know that they're wise words. And I know that Ronald Reagan quoted them in a speech.

Enjoy Jan 20, 2009 as a great day in American history.
We have been sending our money abroad for decades and we are still the richest nation in the world. Odd that doing so has not harmed us? Not odd at all.
My grandmother was a devout Catholic, and one of the most giving people I have ever known, but even she had a limit.
When I was growing up and things might be rough, she would still do what she could with what she had, but then she would tell us, okay, I have reached the point where I cannot do it anymore for a while. She would tell us then "Charity begins at home". If we do not care for our own then we will end up in a position where we will be of no help to anyone!!!
This country is at a point where the charity must be USED at home NOW!!! There are no jobs, unemployment is nowhere near enough to sustain a family, and ALL the wealth of this country is concentrated in the top 5% of the people. If they find the need to be that generous with American money, then let it BEGIN at the top!!! Isn't it funny though, that those who are most generous, are often those with the least to share in the first place? Wealthy people may give, but it definately does NOT hurt them, AND usually they have some sort of return on it.
Like you, I will wait and see, and I will reserve judgement, but I am very skeptical.
You have been so kind and concerned in your effort to help me and my family, with your
prayers and commenting on my posts. I cannot do more than keep you in my prayers and
comment on your works as well, for the moment, so please accept my sincere Thank You, and some points for you.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
