Leon is doing much better

Since Leons vet visit he has not had another episode. He has been fine, and acting normal. The vet called yesterday to let me know that the tests came back negative. I am still waiting for the results on one test it was for toxoplasmosis ( spelling?) . I should find out today but I am hoping that one also comes back negative. I believe it will because since Leon has been on the antibiotics he is doing great. The vet thinks his seizure was caused by a inner ear infection his temperature was also low which was strange because he was inside and does not go out in the cold weather. He has ear drops, and a antibiotic. Also he had tested positive for mites which I had him treated for previously. So we are also now using Revolution to help keep mites off of him. ( it also prevents fleas, and ticks as well. )

He will have a follow up appointment in about 2 weeks which I have to schedule once I have the results of the last test. He is such a ham. He is loving all the attention he is getting . I guess we have been giving him extra attention because he scared us all so bad the other day. So he is now a extra spoiled cat not just a spoiled cat!!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. We make our pets our family. We have bonds to them. We have cared and love this animal and want whats best for him. When their health is in question not only does it hurt the animal, but it hurts us. If you love something you do not like to see it hurt and that is very much the case with Leon. After losing Drake not even a month ago this was a big blow. So thank you everyone for your concern. I appreciate it!
