The weather here is very cold and snowy. They say it is going to continue to get colder as the week goes on. Last winter there were two home burned down in sight of our home. Last night there was another. It just breaks my heart to see so many homeless people when it is so cold. Don't get me wrong, it is always bad but when it is cold, it just seems to be worse. They cannot get out to keep from getting depressed over it.

Do you remember Tommy Wallach? Well he has returned and he is making quite a stir in the Gather community. On Monday there was a live chat with Tommy, Transcript of Live Chat with Tommy Wallach. And that is just the beginning.
Last year, Gather hosted First Tracks, a unique contest for unsigned musicians and bands to score a major label recording deal. An all-star judging panel selected their top five, who performed their final entries live in NYC. Then the Gather community voted for their top favorite - Tommy Wallach!
Since winning the contest, Tommy has been working hard in the studio. Last month, he came out with his EP which has been digitally released.

Gather challenges you to come up with your lyrics! Here's how it works:
Come up with one line to the song
Include a person's first name at the end of the line. The name should rhyme with the word directly in front of it (ex: You don't need to be coy, Roy; Just drop off the key, Lee)

Leave your lyrics by Friday, January 16th. You can post as many as you want. Gather will draw the writer of one lyric to receive Tommy Wallach's new EP, which includes his version of "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" as well as 100 Gather Points!!!
