First Ultrasound results

Everything looks fine!  It was so fun to see our little one and the pictures are even more pronounced than they were with my son 3 years ago!  The heartbeat was 167 and strong so we are very pleased.  Any guesses regarding the sex?  I always thought I would have all boys, but I am leaning towards a girl this time.  My due date got moved up too.  Now it is a countdown to July 31st!

My ob told me last time around that doctors educated in one half of the country tend to think fast heartbeats are boys and slow heartbeats are girls, and doctors who go to school in the other half of the country believe the reverse.

So exciting!

I find Tabitha's comment interesting--my doctor's told me that heartbeat is not an indication, because it's partially a reaction to your body, and is generally higher during the months of that first ultrasound anyway. (I've always heard higher is a girl, and going by Elliott's he should have been a girl!)
