Well, little Mercy and Grace are doing wonderfully! I've let them stay out of the carrier while I'm at work the last three days and they are so happy. The only time I put them in the carrier is when I go to bed because they love to play so much and I need my sleep. They are so smart and very cute! I'm so glad I took them in. I've enjoyed them so much and they are mixing with my grown up cats fairly well. Powder Puff still gets a little annoyed with them because she's a bit jealous but most of the cats just play with them or ignore them or lick them.
Overall, they are fitting in wonderfully and are both very good about using the litter box. That is a really good thing because I've taken care of cats/kittens in the past that wouldn't use the box and I had to spend a lot of time cleaning up. I'm glad that these two are smart and obedient.
The only challenge I have had is teaching Mercy not to chew on cords because I have a lot of electrical and computer cords in the place and I don't want him to be electrocuted and I don't want my equipment damaged, either. Especially my computer cord because I just paid $80 a few months ago to replace the power cord for my laptop and I don't want to have to buy another any time soon. Since I have two Apple computers and the equipment for Apples is a bit more expensive than PC computers, I don't want to spend any more money replacing expensive cables.
Anyway, I just thought I'd give you a quick update.
