Time Warner Plans to Raise Prices on Feb. 1st

Apparently Time Warner customers are not too happy about the upcoming increase in Time Warner services.  After the recent channel controversy with Time Warner, many people are simply fed up it seems.

Customers may feel the pinch on February 1, 2009, when rates will increase.  How much depends on what package you have.  As a Time Warner customer, I am left wondering whether I really need to DVR shows and whether rabbit ears are in the future...

After February rabbit ears will not work without a convertor. The cable companies are very greedy.

I have fond memories of TV as a child. No remote and six channels. Not much choice, but you enjoyed every moment of it.

I've been happier with satellite than I ever was with cable.

I'm not surprised. We only have the very basic cable and the internet. I hope it doesn't go up too much.

They are going to wind up bankrupt! I sure wouldnt keep them. I would go with satellite if I were their customers!

We just downgraded our cable, Comcast and the customer service rep didn't sound too surprised. These higher rates are coming at a bad time for a lot of folks.
