I only wish I had known more about housing & construction when I bought my townhome.

I posted last night that we are painting - this is just ONE issue is a huge series of issues about my home that stinks!  The builder never primed the walls so the entire wall has to be scraped down to drywall before it can be repainted. Otherwise the paint just peels off as you paint over it.

I have one wall that was basically made of particle board and will eventually collapse, which, as of right now, would cost me about $10,000 to replace.

Anyway, I'm trying to catch up on folding laundry this morn in my bedroom and I hear this crash coming from my closet. My entire shelf that has the rack for hanging clothes on pulled out of the wall. So, everything came crashing down onto my floor.

So, now when my dad &  stepmom get here, we have to figure out what to do with the closet before we can paint.

And... my daughter is fighting me on doing her homeschool work and they have ballet class this afternoon.

And, yes, I'm avoiding it all by sitting here on Gather....
