My Next January Challenge

My first challenge for 2009 was to leave at least one comment for everyone on my friends list. It took a while, but it allowed me to catch up with what people were doing and I learned quite a bit about some of my friends that I didn't know.

That was a one day challenge, so now I've come up with a 31 day challenge - to post an article for every day of the month of January. Today is just January 6th - so I'm going to have to post more than one on a few days to catch up. It will be a challenge to see if I can come up with that much to share.

I generally focus on sharing deals and freebies, so it will get me to look a little harder for deals to share.

How often do you post articles on Gather? Do you generally post at least one thing a day?

i try to post at least one article a day, depends on if i won anythign or not that day. posting also depends on my mood.

it depends on what I am doing and how long I got in front of puter...I work out of the house writing, so that comes first, kid goes to school online and now that dh is out of work, he plays games on puter when he is bored and not fishing...so try at least 20 comments a day, and at least one article if possible.

Sometimes I go in spurts when it comes to sharing on Gather. some days I have alot to say. Other times I share freebies and such. Even if soemoen on friends decides to rate them low. I will still share them.

Great goals! I need to add posting to my friends! I try to add comments when they post... but I need to be more aggressive as far as stopping in to say when they haven't posted for a few days!

I've been here about 2 weeks and I haven't posted something every day, but I'm pretty close on average. Good luck with meeting your goal, Dana!

Some days I post several articles... other days, I don't post anything at all. Just depends on my mood and when the fancy strikes me. :) good luck on your challenges!

That's a great goal! I would love to get back to posting daily and it was actually one of my steps that I was discussing in order to get back into Gather more. When I went for the 3k challenge to switch over to the cash option last year, I posted daily and went over my goal easily. It really helped and I had a blast with it. Maybe I need to start doing it again, too.

How much I post depends on what I feel like. I generally comment more than I post though.

Cool. I'm trying to post at least every other day, but it all depends on how many hours I end up working in a given day. Being an accountant this time of year is busy, so I hope to catch up a little more later in the year.
