Yet Another Reason I Won't (and Can't) Watch CNN
by Marilyn Mackenzie
This morning, I got an email from OneNewsNow.com that gave me one more reason why I cannot watch CNN News.
Here's the link for the story: CNN Characterizes Palin as Fallen From Grace
CNN listed politicians who fell from grace in 2008. They included Rod Blagojevich, Elliot Spitzer and Ted Stevens, among others. And guess who else made the list!?!?!?!
OneNewsNow.com said:
"Each of the men listed by CNN have either been indicted for corruption, lost their positions, are soon to face jail time, been convicted of ciminal actions or been drummed out of their party. Who do you think made this dubious list of the worst achievements for 2008? Governor Sarah Palin."
"Governor Palin did not take a bribe, get booted from her party, nor lose her job as Governor. She is not under indictment, she doesn't face jail time, and she didn't dally in sexual indulgences w/ co-workers or indulge in hiring sexual favors. Yet she made the CNN "crimes and misdemeanors" list."
On another site the other day, there were some statistics taken about what evangelical Christians think. That study said that while some were not thrilled with John McCain, he was still the only clear choice. Many, though, said that they loved Sarah Palin and hope that she runs in 2012.
The liberal media just doesn't get it.

She will be back in 2012...
I don't want to hear or see editorials, documentaries or things of that nature from a media source given the responsibility of reporting the news.
There's enough newsworthy things happening throughout the world to attract viewers without resorting to silly topics such as politicians who fell from grace in 2008.
CNN should just report the news. There's enough of it to go around.
Frankly, I like how she has governed as mayor and as governor. I like her conservative stand. I thought that she and McCain would have been an awesome team, but she stands alone quite well too. She doesn't have one strong point, per se, but I love the total package.

Unfortunately for all of us, Obama was not investigated.
I just don't like them in general. Then again, I'm not too keen on the news media at all anymore.
I look forward to volunteering for Barack Obama and facing her or any other Republican in 2012.
If "ALL polititicians do those things" does that make it right?
The one area where I have sympathy for Palin is the thing with her daughter. That should never have been a factor for anyone outside of the family. But her inability to give responses to the questions asked in the debate was certainly her own. Never heard but one other politicians be quite so blunt that they were not going to answer the questions, and that was George Hansen, the representative from Idaho. He was later convicted on felony charges and spent time in prison but he informed the questioner that "you are not asking the right questions! Sarah didn't go quite that far but approximately.
On the plus side, Sarah would have probably qualified as the best looking governor in the nation! And her flips on the issues were quite self serving but that is, as you say, what they all do, is it not?
and yes I agree she was not in league with the criminals she fell under the category they called controversy, meaning some for some against her politics etc.
any how sarah has been taken off the list

Anyone who doesn't offer those characteristics is so disconcerting to their world view that they get very angry. The product they sell is a gossip and slander culture and so far it has been very profitable. So in that sense the Palin bashing fulfills two purposes: makes them money and soothes their fears.
