I had my appointment with my oncologist on New Year's Eve day and I had the blessing to meet a remarkable young woman called Kim C., a 27 year old that is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments for her breast cancer. Kim is a delightful woman that is filled with enthusiasm, faith, and light. She is a woman of faith that will enable her to find the strength to fight her dis-ease.
Even though I am a cancer survivor myself, it still buoys me to see people that in the face of the dreaded dis-ease process find hope, inspiration, and strength from the power of prayer. I know prayer surely helped me during this past year of my healing journey from breast cancer.
But, everyone could benefit from our heartfelt words on their behalf even if we don't ever meet them. So, please keep Kim in your prayers. She was an answer to my prayer that morning as I was asking our Divine Planner if it was in His Plan for me to still pursue starting a cancer support group, Soul Endeavors, at my church. Kim, happened to be have given my name the day before by a mutual acquaintance to help guide her in healing journey. We happened to meet independently of the call.
I will continue to find strength in the power of answered prayers and hope you'll recognize when you see your own prayers being answered in a way only our Divine Planner can answer.
Blessings to you and yours for a happy and healthy new year.

Kim C is in my prayers.
Thanks for playing my UPS/Thief game!
Thanks for asking, as I wouldn't have known.
