RESOLUTION
Resolution dawns within
to appear without
STANDING
Absolutely and Resolutely
without sound
The Sun appears to confirm
without blinking or thinking
It is done
Finished
Complete
The Sun smiles brightly,
and speaks
"Fear not the shade."

Could the shade also symbolize the dark side each of us possesses?
For TRULY with EYES WIDE OPEN ~ The SUN SHINES BRIGHTLY!

JanƩt Thank you for the FEATURE. I really did not mean for the copyright line to be so BIG! Good Lord!

" . . . once we put aside the "darkness", then all things become possible. I think fear often times holds us back from becoming our true selves." ~ Renda
I agree with you Renda ~ "Fear" is a DREAM KILLER. "Fear" is like a TASER. TASERS will stop a person in their tracks and hold a person back from using their limbs to move about. . . .
In the paralyzing time of "Fear" . . . It is best to breathe ~ and breathe deeply, because "Fear" shortens the breath. And, "Breath" is associated with Life and Vitality. . . .
And, "Life" is what enables us to be our TRUE SELVES. WE MUST LIVE LIFE FULLY, deeply, and without "Fear" ~ as you've said, Renda -- " . . . then all things are possible."
Thank you so much for adding your wise words Sister Collaborator. ~ L O L ~
Tracey ~ I will keep in mind ~ "the layered feel of it" ~ Spoken like a true Poetry Expert. Thank you. ~ l o l.
I'm getting such good feedback from everybody on this poem . . . Lynn you said, "powerful and hopeful"; and that "It gives a sense of freedom and joy" ~
All of these wonderful comments are making me re-read the poem again myself ~ L O L. Thank you Lynn.
". . . I really loved what I read between your lines -- your subtle but pointed implication. The lines "without STANDING" -- that last so rightly in all caps -- "without blinking", and the comparison to the sun -- all those mean something so intrinsic to the feeling of true resolution, and its constancy. No struggle for the sun to decide whether to rise or set, it just does, it just IS, and therefore includes the shade in its orbit, neither good nor bad, just shade. I'm being too wordy about this, I know, contrary to your clear simplicity, but I just wanted to say that for me you captured something so true about the way you feel when you really have resolved and know there's no question of following through. Fantastic! -- another one I'm bookmarking for when I need a jolt." ~ Gillian
Almost words to live by!

I liked this, Rene'. Perhaps there is more danger in the "shade" than in the "darkness". Well done.
Hi Marie ~ Now that is an interesting thought you've put forth . . . MORE DANGER in the "shade" than in the "darkness"? or LESS DANGER in the "shade" than in the "darkness"?
Although, I believe that one should "fear" neither.
Thanks for adding in your thoughts, and I hope you come back to add more to this.
When we're in "the shade" we may feel safe and let our guard down. Just random thoughts! I actually fear neither the dark nor the shade. Neither do I fear the blinding light of day that exposes everything in sharp detail. A life lived in fear is no life at all. Cheers.
YES, YES, YES ~ Marie! I'm glad you came back to add more of your WISDOM to this RESOLUTION.
I will make a NOTE of your words ~ "Neither do I fear the blinding light of day that exposes everything in sharp detail. A life lived in fear is no life at all." ~ Marie B. Pinschmidt
EXCELLENT. Thank you.
You're welcome, Rene'.
This poem says a lot in lesser words. You inspire me!
Ah ~ Thank you Sonia. I'm happy that this poetic work inspired you. I hope to SEE your writings flowing forth ~ smiles.
Rene I got a very sweet charge reading this neat and complete tribute that celebrates our Collective Heart and Creator of All Energies, that Great Ball of Fire in the Sky!
Funny, I seldom thought about that most incredibbly reliable Heavenly Body as anything more than 'just one of those miracles of Nature', something so much bigger than my little life that I was content just knowing it was there.
Thanks to you Rene I shall never take this Miracle for granted again!
Glenn ~ I have to say, I'm glad I met you. I'm also glad that you shared your DREAM EXPERIENCE and your thoughts with us in the other Groups. It is a pleasure to know you, and I do hope that you know that I'm glad to have you as a "friend".
Thanks so much for adding your comments to this poetic. L O L.
I feel a bit sheepish now, hope nobody saw me on top of San Bruno Mountain that overlooks our Trailer Park yelling at the morning Sun:
HEY!! COULD YOU TURN IT DOWN ABOUT !2 DEGREES?? WE'RE MELTING DOWN HERE!!
Gees, even San Francisco Bay looks STEAMIN' today!
Rene, SuperGlad to know you Sweetie!!
Smiles ~ The HEAT is BEAMING ULTRA HOT that is for sure Glenn. Knowing that WE are all in this TOGETHER, I'm sure everyone will keep us posted on where the SHADE is all around the Globe ~ L O L to you Glenn.
