from your far-flung food correspondent: Richard Frisbie
Many of you noticed my absence over the last week or so. First it was a major retail holiday and I was busy selling my books --
Then I gave my book store (Booktrader) away and moved (am in the process of moving!) my Publishing Company (Hope Farm Press) and web store to a smaller (read that more economical) location.
Free To Good HomeSo - I miss you - thanks for the kind words of support and your tolerance of my absence. I'll return soon.
My new location will have web service and a phone line soon. I'm writing this before I unplug and pack it in from this location of 19 years. (I'm finding so much stuff!)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
(I'd rather be in Mexico!)
Richard Frisbie, FOOD Correspondent:
RICHARD FRISBIE is published twice a month to Gather Essentials: Food. It is a food junkie's take on growing, raising, preparing and - above all else - eating food. Together we’ll explore the trends, addictions, equipment and regional specialties that make up the sometimes mundane and sometimes sublime cooking and dining experience. You can keep up with my other postings and Gather activity by joining my Gather network -- I look forward to hearing from you.
You can read all of my articles http://rfrisbie.gather.com/ or find them with those of the other Food Correspondents, plus celebrity chef content and plenty of other Foodies at http://foodtalk.gather.com

My goodness, Richard.
I wasn't around much either, but now am slowly easing back into Gather and trying to re-connect with my friends.
Here's to a prosperous 2009 for us all!
