I hope you all enjoyed the Holidays! I hope they were filled with warm family times and blessings for all of you.
This week I decided to be completely unoriginal. I'm sure we all still have our New Year's resolutions on our minds. I know I do. One of mine is to laugh more. I think that's one of the keys to good health.
For this challenge you may also use the words Resolution and Resolute and all of their forms. Since I am giving you so many choices, let's actually use the word this week. Enjoy!
Remember, you can write in whatever style you please. But do take a moment to look at the group description if you haven't already. And don't forget to label those special forms if you use them, providing links to the descriptions of the form where you can.
Please remember to add "Poetry Please Single Word Challenge" or just "Single Word Challenge" to either your title or tags as I will be monitoring the group. Thank You.
Our last challenge was so creative. I want to thank those who participated again for coming out so close to the Holidays with so much going on to support our group. And thank you all for continuing to support our group through the past sixty one challenges! Welcome to our new and returning writers!
Welcome Back Everyone!

Should ole resolves fail to pass
Let new ones gain momentum fast.
For hopes may come and hopes may fade
And only you can be to be blame
For each year you resolve much more
Towards betterment beyond control
Slow down and FEEL this year for
Resolutions held so dear.
Be there for those who seek and call and
Those many more that may stumble and fall
For your heart is there for any who seek
Resolutions of kindness, you set forth this week.
How long do we have for our entries? (deadline)
Thanks for all you do.
Wilka
