Last night my son noticed a light that he had not seen before when he was in our backyard. Hubby and I looked at it and were curious as well, so we hopped in the car to see if we could figure out the origin. We drove down the street behind us and never did figure it out.
After that, we settled in to watching a few TV shows, when suddenly someone knocked at the door. It was our next door neighbor, informing us that our car had been egged, along with at least a half dozen others in the neighborhood. Some guys driving by were egging all the cars, but when they got to the next door neighbor's truck, he heard them and ran out.
I'm not sure if he followed them or what, but the police did catch the guys. We've heard that there was one adult and one teen involved, both males.
The cops finally ventured down our street to take names and addresses of those whose cars had been egged and told us to check in daylight to make sure no other damage was evident. Hubby, of course, went to work cleaning the egg off the car. I'm not sure if he knew it, but I was surprised when the neighbors said that egg can take off paint.

that is so awful that people would go around doing something like that. didn't they have anything else better to do with their time except for going around egging somebody's vehicle's? well that is good that they got caught thou. wonder what the charges are for egging somebody's car like that? also, i have no idea weather or not that an egg will take the paint off of the car like that or not. i bet that the egg would be difficult to get off of the car or anything else once it has dried!
take care and have a beautiful day today!
