A Rainbow in Winter... (Rainbow Connection's New Color of the Week)

 Rainbows can be a puzzling thing...

You never know when... or where... you might see one...

Rainbows pop up in the most unexpected places...

... We never know the day or hour... Although we usually see them in the summer...

We see them in the fall...

And we can see them in the winter, too...

Rainbows are all around...

Once you start looking, you'll find them everywhere...

Sometimes subtle... 

Sometimes bold...

You can wait until you spot one...

Or you can make your own...

So your task for January's dreary days...

...is to find a rainbow...

Capture a rainbow... or make your own...

Because rainbows can make the everyday extarordinary... everyday.... even in winter...

Please help me look for rainbows...

For the next two weeks, you're invited to post your images, artwork, stories, songs, poetry and videos as they pertain to rainbows to Rainbow Connections.

My husband and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversay (January 4th) by taking a break from winter in his home state of California. I'll be popping in from time to time to see your rainbows, and the winners will be announced when I return.

I'll have my camera with me... We'll be on the lookout for rainbows, too.

I promise.
