I don't necessarily need it, but the cash sure does come in handy when I can't get the money otherwise, and I 'enjoy' being here, posting things, regardless of the points.

I need it because it gives me ideas with which to further my world, and also for the points to get gift cards to supplement my income, which is like zilcho right now.

I don't necessarily need it, but it is really nice to be able to have a site I can visit that I have such a variety of people I can talk to and bounce ideas off of and stuff like that. The points are an awesome bonus! =)

I enjoy being in here myself. I do feel a need for new freinds and the gift cards are really nice also. They helped me out lot with Christmas last year.

I have this "thing", when I feel I need something, 'thing' being the word here, I will leave.
I am who I am, I will not deny.
Need and want are very different words in my book.
So, no I do not need, my breath will not leave if I do not have the web, I want to have it and be here.

No I don't really need it, but I'd be able to afford a lot less without it, that's for sure, LOL.

As for friends met here - I know some are at other sites, so I could always stick in contact with them there, but I'd miss Gather if it ever went away.

I don't need Gather per se, my apartment would be much cleaner without Gather. I really enjoy it here though, and it still amazes me every time I cash out that I get rewards for doing something I like.

I agree with you 100%. I need it also, except the points help me to get some household stuff (since the hubby and I are on disability). I also need Gather for all the wonderful people that I can get advice and friendship from, since my anxiety keeps me inside most of the time.

Cortney .. do you leave the house at all? I have anxiety too but its for small spaces ... riding in cars .. being in large crowds .. or being .. or feeling trapped in any way. Then I have horrible panic attacks and feel like I am going to die! Is your anything like this? I have actually had a panic attack worrying I was going to have a panic attack!

I really like gather. There are times when other than a few words to my husband I don't have contact with any other adult for days on end. This is especially true when my husband works for 14+ hours each day 7 days a week.
