I don't even know what to say. Cute...not really, sad...nope, practical and stupid looking...yes, that is what I was going for. hahahahaha

I'd be givin' grandpa the same "WTF" look myself. Lol!! This is too cute Shannon. Glad they got into the family 'feel' and kept warm. Lol. Adorable.

Hey CK baby!

How cute! We bought our dog(a welsh corgi) a vest/jacket for Christmas last year and he hated it. It could have something to do with the plaid, but he refused to go out the front door with it on. Now that he has a plain black one, he will go out the door willingly, and they tell me that my dog doesn't know that I work in fashion. :)

Plaid??? What dog in his right mind would wear plaid?

(JK. My sister's pit bull has a plaid sweater. One has argyle too, I think).

Poor puppies. Who made today 'Dress the Doggies Like A Dork" Day? It's a good thing we're out of town and our friends can't see us.

The photo's are cute. the doggies don't look happy...but hey at least you all got to go for walks ;-)

hahahah!!! I was trying to write something about my daughter's dog.. "A Coat for Katara".

They moved up from Florida three months ago. After Thanksgiving I realized that Katara couldn't handle the cold weather like my Collies. She would shiver for such a long time.

So, I made her a coat. It wasn't easy, since I've never made one before. I'm not sure if the pic will show... not sure the usual way to embed pics works.

That's cute. I got Dakota a nice hand knit wool sweater at the Raining Cats And Dogs shop in Frankenmuth. It was about $36 with tax. The clerk said it would be real warm. The day I bought it was the day Dakota got in a fight with a French bulldog in her store. I walked in the store with Dakota on a leash and didn't know there was a dominant male bulldog in the store loose. The bulldog flew at Dakota, probably to play, I'm not sure. Dakota didn't know what was coming at him and he started growling and snapping and the bulldog did the same. A whole store full of people stopped and watched and I wanted to crawl under a table. The clerk pulled off the bulldog and put him in a crate. Then Dakota settled down and tried on sweaters until we got one that fit. Neither dog was hurt and the people who work in the store didn't get upset about it. It scared me though. A couple of clerks in the store tried sweaters on Dakota for me until we found one that fit and then I told them to just clip off the tags and I'd pay for it and he could wear it home. Dakota can't wear the sweater outside to play with Amy though because she grabs it with her teeth and would rip it. So, its for walks or when he goes outside alone.

The dogs are very cute. I don't blame them for being a bit perturbed by the vests, though.

a friend brought her Puggle pup, Chewy,to visit last Sunday and he was dressed in a red n' white hoodie Santa suit....so cute,but i opened the door when saw he was about to annoint my carpet and forgot he is a boy doggie.....he isn't fond of the outfit and due to the snow he squatted rather than search for a tree to hike his leg and annointed the underside of the garment until soaked...hehehe...

Cute! lol although they look like they are none to sure about them. Fritz would soak them in a half a block. He is either peeing or marking the snow drifts. I can't see a coat keeping him warm if he's got it all wet. lol Maybe if it didn't have an underneath. Actually what Fritz needs is boots....lol his poor feet get so cold so fast. After only just a couple sec in the snow he's holding them up.

When Dulce annointed the neighborhood, I just pulled the vest up a bit and he was free and clear!

Kim, check out muttluks. We are hoping to get some for the dogs this year. Failing that, they do have waxes specifically for dogs' feet to protect from ice, salt, etc.

thats really cute, i hope they stay nice and warm? We have a sweater for our dog, but she doesnt like it to much, she will try to chew on it and try getting it off.

I love that Grams and Gramps wanted them to be warm. Dad gives me hell when I tell him that the dogs go outside sometimes with no winter gear on. "Rob, you just can't do that. They can't stay warm out there with no fur."

My husband fixed up a cable that runs from outside to inside the house. I just hook Wiley up to the cable and let him out. He uses the bathroom and lets me know when he is finished. I then wipe his feet and he comes in. LOL

Connie, we keep double towelage by the door for feets.

And yes, Matt keeps the patio cleaned off. For the dogs, primarily. But he always tell me to be careful just walking out to get the mail.
