We didn't feel so hot yesterday so I postponed making a roast beef until tonight. It smells so good but won't be ready for at least another 30 minutes. Steaming some zucchini and made some carnival squash, too.

Probably catching a movie on TV as it way tooooooo foggy to be driving anywhere tonight.

I am vegetarian. The rest of the family had pork chops, I had the mashed potatos with broccoli , sauted mushrooms and onions.

We had portabella tortellini with alfredo sauce, garlic cheese bread and corn. Hubby is doing the dishes. The last load of laundry is in the dryer and then it will be folded and put away. I am Gathering for a while and then I'll work on my cousin's really late Christmas gift.

Well, since we rarely ever go out, its dinner in. We're going to have a very late lunch since John's on call today and has spent all day working. I made homemade pizza dough this afternoon so pizza for a late lunch. We're supposed to have open faced roast beef sandwiches from a leftover roast but since lunch is so late, I don't know if we'll have room later.

First a little cream of carrot soup, then a steak cooked very rare, topped with mushrooms cooked in the pan drippings, a little extra butter and a splash of red wine accompanied by a salad of fennel and radicchio. Then fresh pineapple splashed with kirschwasser, a classic French dessert.

We had pizza around 6pm tonight.

I think the kids had a bag of chip when you were watching TV tonight too.

My husband bought the pizza & chips as a treat fro the kids.
