opinion square? it is a survey site i joined a little bit ago but i am very lery of this site. first you had to download their software to get survey. i do not like someone having access to my computer so deleted the software. now they sent an email saying i had to keep the software in order to remain a member. anyone a member of this site?

I've been a member for a long time but do not recall having to download any software.. but I might have. I've received several great prizes from them too. However, I will tell you that their "support team" STINKS!! I've emailed them twice and NEVER got a response from them. But, prizes are sent promptly so I stick with it.

I've never heard of them either but there are two places I go before investing any time in a "get paid to" site:

http://www.beenpaid.com

and

http://www.gptboycott.com

I would also suggest you google "opinion square reviews" and see if you like what pops up. I am not a big fan of companies that require downloaded software - another example is Neilsen surveys - so I would probably skip it since there are so many other great survey sites that pay without any downloads required.

I have never had to download anything from them. It has been a while since I have done surveys from anyone though.

I second Renita, I have gotten some cool things from them. If I remember correctly, their prizes come from Amazon and I was even able to send one back directly to Amazon, get credit, and buy what I wanted more.

Yes i am! I have been for a long time! I dont remember having to download anything, but my computer said that the downloads were harmful, so dont download any of there software! But i have gotten 14,950 points from them and turned in my points for stuff i wanted! I love this site though the prizes are awesome!

I am an opinion square member but never downloaded the survey program thing. They just send me e-mails for the surveys I qualify for.

I used to belong to it but then when I heard about downloading software, I got leery and haven't participated since.....I really have never been that impressed with this survey program, anyway.

The name of the service seems familiar, however, I have never checked them out, so I haven't become a member. I, too, am never sure about those GPT programs that require you to download things. Not only is it a pain, but I feel the same way you do about such a program accessing my computer for participation. Thanks for sharing your experience, even if it is a very limited one.
