Inspiration comes from strange places for me, I suppose. Today, I am simply giddy over the fact that I have been able to follow through with leaving behind a total of 2 large Tim Horton's coffees, which I promised to do as part of my leave behind attempt at a better 2009. I left behind my second cup of coffee. Now I am $3.28 richer for it.
I do not do well with resolutions, so two days and $3.28 is a big deal for me. My strategy was painless, really. I can have a second cup as long as I make it at home. Over the year, if I follow through, I will have over $500 to spend just by skipping my second cup of Tim Hortons.
My amazing willpower is not really amazing at all, though my title claims so. This year I am taking the simple route to success and in the end I will have some cash in hand.
Pass the coffee, please. Home brewed.
