It's been over two years now since I found Gather. In that time I have managed to increase my connections list, make some points, and read about nearly everything under the sun. It has been a fun ride. Looking ahead to 2009, I am hoping that the fun continues.
I'd like Gather to remain stable to start. Then it would be nice to see more contests, more point opportunities, and I'm holding my breath that another photo or triple points special comes along.
What would you like to see on Gather in 2009?

Also, I think a smart strategic move that Gather.com or most other sites looking to get more members can implement is to give away the "gear" they advertise, rather than sell it to us. That's not saying they should give every member a shirt, but maybe as promotions to the first 25-50 commentors on a post, etc. The members would proudly wear the T-shirts and provide Gather with some free, real world advertising.
I would love to see a photo promo later on in the year(after I get my memory card for my new camera).
