Brett, that's a spin on it. Palin's nomination also made news. I think Obama and Palin made this a good year to cover politics.
Really, Richard? Not a single, solitary one? Did you check out the ones from MPR? I'd be happy to read your feedback on them.
On the micro scale--lots more important to me--my unemployment.
This is the most MEMORABLE story for me this year. Especially Act Two. This American Wife. This has stayed with me since hearing it. Throughout the election, it was on my mind and now that Obama is in, I'm hoping for a change.

I guess, given the activities of today and recently, I'd have to say the Franken/Coleman campaign as far as a statewide story with national implications. Of course, it's clearly going to continue to spill into 2009!
