Ha, I'm not profound - especially with so little room. I'd say I'm more along the lines of... musing with the snippets? Or at least that's how it feels to me, but some of them I have to really work with to keep them 30 words or shorter.
Which reminds me... I've not done a snippet in months now! Hmmm, maybe I should "slap you with another one" then run off back to the novel? LOL

LOL no, YOU are the Snippets Master. I still haven't really gotten the hang of them yet. I do have one here that I did earlier called "X" but I'm not too thrilled with it to be honest.
You just "GO GOLD" Jen! ~ I saw it, and I was trying to think of somthing like Miguel did to help the Snippet keep moving right along amongst The Snippets Crew ~ GOOD IDEA!
That really is such a challenge, and one of these days I'm going to have to give it a serious try. I have a bad tendency to be too wordy, and when I feel myself giving in to that too often, I usually try my hand at poetry, particularly the structured forms that require either counting words or (even better) syllables. I find it makes me much more economical with my words then. I'd image these snippets work much the same way.
And a belated thank you for your comments on my National Novel Writing Month article. Though I'm a little late getting around to saying it, I really do appreciate the time you took to read and comment on my article.

Gary ~ You did pretty good with your comment -- Each line is a Snippet -- a smooth "30" words or less. In fact, with all of your lines under "13" words, that is really EXCEPTIONAL!
