What is the name of a ring setting that you can...

I found a medium sized bead that I want to make into a ring, and remember seeing once a silver ring setting that had a post across the setting part that snapped open like a pin or broach has - but I can't remember the name of a ring setting that you add a bead to - I've been searching for a couple hours and can't find it - does anyone know what I mean - it was sort of a craft jewelry making site - but I don't sodder or anything - can anybody figure out the name of what I am talking about?
