Mercy's Adventure in the litter box - too funny!

Last night, I was in the bathroom on the toilet when my little kitten, Mercy, came in to use the litter box.  Well, it just so happened that one of my larger cats had just pooped in the box and I have rather large cats who leave behind a good sized poop.  Now, this became funny when Mercy, who walks a bit off balance to begin with because of his foot that was injured when he was smaller and learning to walk, somewhat struggled to get in the litter box in the first place.

Once in the box, walking around in the litter also is a bit of a challenge but he went straight to where the other cat had pooped and sniffed at it.  Upon discovering it, he decided that it needed to be covered - which is a normal cat response.  The thing that became really funny was that the poop was almost as big as he is and he was struggling to walk in the litter to begin with but he took on this task of trying to cover it up and as he did, he kept falling over.  He looked like he was drunk.

His sister, Grace, came into the box about that time and realized her brother was having a challenge and even though she's not much bigger than Mercy, she swiftly covered the poop and Mercy gave up, went to the bathroom and then finally managed to waddle his way out of the box.

Now, this may not sound as funny in writing as it was in person but let me tell you that it was a good thing I was on the toilet or I would have peed all over myself.  I was laughing so hard watching this little kitten attempt to cover something about as big as him.  I had tears rolling down my face I was laughing so hard.

Anyway, I hope you got a little chuckle over this.  Just imagine this little gray and white kitten waddling like he's drunk trying to cover up a mountain in comparison to him.
