A New Year's Wish

2009 is here at last
2008 is fading fast
A little wish to from me to y'all
Lets break down that political wall

To prosper we must stand together
In our lives, and here on Gather
Stranger, neighbor, friends as one
Lets undo the damage done

Neocon and Lib unite
Its the only way we'll win this fight
We all have something great to gain
If we could learn to use our brain

Unity is what must be heard
Make it not be just a word
Nations of the world will hear
Together we will save this sphere

To bring our little brothers home
From far off lands where they still roam
To help our brethren of every sort
Will take us all, lets not fall short

We have an unique opportunity
To become a world community
These words they rhyme, I know you see
Because they end with UNITY

You're my brother, I'm your sis
I hope you will remember this
We are all in this as one
Together miracles can be done


So on this first of January
Be my friend not adversary
Put those arguments aside
Each others differences we must abide

To make this country strong again
Only together will we sustain
A collective heart and voice will reap
A world view that we're not just sheep

In this new year lets  start anew
With warm wishes from me to you
We are all one, lets stand united
Rebuild this place that has been blighted.

Not one, not two, but everyone
From morning light to setting sun
Lets show the world what we are like
When all of us we do unite
