After taking our inside Christmas decorations and tree down (another story), the four of us played chocolate Trivial Pursuit. Yes, this is an actual game. I found it at Walgreens in the 75% off section, and Angela thought it would be good for tonight. My family will definately play a game for chocolate...LOL.
The problem with the game is you have to answer all 3 questions on a 'card' to get to keep the card. After about 3 rounds, we decided that it was about impossible to get all 3 of the questions right. I had 1 chocolate and no one else had any..... We went to getting 2 of the 3 questions right.....
Pher and I earned chocolate cards....and Angela actually got one. Mike didn't have any...nada....none. By the time we went through with the 32 cards, we determined this was just too difficult for us. I did win though...and got the covetted chocolate medalion. (All that vast unimportant knowledge I have stored up...LOL)

By the time we finished the game, it was getting close to midnight....this year we didn't even have any snacks...bummer.
And no, I didn't eat the chocolate, due to my nut allergy....and my family all said the chocolate was terrible anyways.
Maggie was bored with the game, but when the fireworks started outside, she freaked out. Poor doggy is still a little nervous.

I was at Dollar Tree to grab batteries for Chris today, and they had Trivial Pursuit scratch pads- each paper had 2-3 questions, and the answers had scratch pads on them to find out the right answer. I want to grab a few when we get paid next week to have this summer when we go camping. :)

Buckwheat (5) and Lucy (12) are terrified of fireworks, especially Lucy. She upsets me and makes me nervous to be around her if fireworks are in the area!!!!
