That so many of us are choosing to spend our New Year's Eve on Gather talking to each other rather than out partying...

I don't know about you but I really enjoy talking with you guys and posting my thoughts here.  We all seem to have a good time and earn while we do so.

So, I say, here is to another year of chatting on Gather and getting to know more of you a little better!

Well, that certainly is one of the great advantages of new technology, I think. I am not much for serious partying as I am more of a reserved sort of person, so it is perfect for me too... come over here and earn points as I work on my websites tonight... but more importantly, to share the moment with some great people through comments and postings. I have certainly never been this loyal to one community for this long, and it is not hard to see why! =)

I used to go to partys.... before children...LOL and much safer here at home, no drunk drivers :>}

Many years ago, I was injured in a car collision on New Years Eve. It could have been worse, especially since the car was old enough not to have seat belts. Since then, partying isn't as appealing. Too many drunk drivers.

I prefer to spend New Years Eve with a few friends. We were planning to drive down to spend the night with friends, but my husband wasn't feeling well enough. So here I am, wishing my Gather friends a very happy new year!
