Discovery Cruise in Pictures~

When I went to the Bahamas we took a cruise ship over to Freeport. The cruise lasted about 5 hours.

On the day we went to Bahamas they served us breakfast & lunch as well. Bingo was offered after we took off. They also have a full bar & a casino. I took my charge to the casino & she won a few dollars on a nickle machine. I don't gamble, so I just watched her.

On the return trip we only had dinner on board as that was just how the timing worked out. But this was a very windy day & almost everyone in our group got seasick, including me! I didn't throw upm, but I wish I would have - I might have felt better then. We did have 3-4 others that actually did get sick.

Welcome to Freeport Bahamas!

 

 

 

 

 

We found out that it is cheaper to buy stuff in Florida & ship it over on the boat to Bahamas. Probably why I felt that most of the stuff in the tourist spots seemed like stuff I could buy at WalMart.

I think I could handle going on a ship again, with choppy waters, if I had some medicine to take that would help with the motion sickness.

On the way to Bahamas it was smooth sailing & I enjoyed it!

I love looking at your trips-you take such great pictures and I really wish I was there too!! I have been on a cruise and I got a real bad sunburn even though I had sunscreen on, and I got seasick too for one day-but other then that it was great and I will cruise again someday!!
