Thru the Gather years..

I have been on here since August 2006. I orginally came here to get points for Bzzagent. I didn't even really come on here until October..I was so lost on here. Within months I "met" people who I really feel if they were in my town....we would be hanging out.  I guess I am in one of those gushy moods today. I am a person  who deals with social aniexty..so the internet was a way of actually being social! I just never imagined that I would get to know such wonderful diverse people. I am grateful for this. Gather became part of my therapy and my life!

You guys have been with me thru the up and downs. You have been with me thru emergencies, unreal situations, weddings, deaths and numerous trips and I even took you on adventures. You have listened to my whining and my excitements. You have seen the world thru my eyes in my pictures...and I have seen yours. You have listened to my countless stories and sometimes downright silliness. I can only hope that these friendships continue to grow and that one day I will be able to meet all the people that have come to mean so much to me.

So to all my peeps....and you know who all are! I am sending hugs and new year's kisses to all of you.

HAVE A HAPPY AND JOYOUS NEW YEAR

I came here about that same time and didn't really do anything for a few months. I was scared to death. I'm glad I came out of my shell. lol It's been a pleasure. I know exactly what you are talking about. This site has had it's ups and downs and changes but I'll always be here. This is where all my friends are!!!!!!!

I joined through Bzzz at about the same time. When I first joined, the people who had been here were mad that we got points for joining through the Bzzz promotion. That seems like yesterday, but it was kind of a long time ago now that I think about it.

I really wish that man could do another term. I like him. LOL.
This is our governor with his BEAUTIFUL, and very CLEVER, actually politically BRILLIANT, Democratic wife, one of the Kennedy clan. He says that the only time he has made political mistakes was when he did not listen to her (Maria Shriver's advice). It takes a smart man to admit that.
