One of the nice things the kitchen staff does on a cruise ship is set up a wonderful display using some sort of food. Our first cruise 12 years ago had a Chocoholic display at the midnight buffet. We also experienced a beautiful ice sculpture display on one cruise and another cruise had a great dessert layout. This cruise it was fruit and vegetables. It is just amazing what art is created using these items. I was lucky enough to get up to the 15th deck just as they finished setting up and got some wonderful photos. Once the people arrived it was impossible to get near the tables to get photos. I hope you enjoy these.
An overview of the entire display.

The individual pieces...

I didn't stick around to see what they did with all of this food but I imagine it made it's way back into the kitchen. I hope the people didn't destroy the display.

Dj G. The bigger ships are great, you don't feel the movement at all. You can get a patch from your family doctor if you are prone to seasickness or airsickness. It goes behind your ear. Some people wear them. I have only felt movement on the smaller ships when the seas have been rough.
Very talented crew!
These are amazing photos.
The one that looked like a Native American man and a swordfish was a watermelon? I was wondering what fruit it was. I wonder how they did that?
